Certified Manufacturing is excited to welcome Mike Hayes to the team. Mike is a success-oriented, aerospace professional helping clients develop solutions to aviation requirements and achieve optimum business results in military and commercial market.
Mike is responsible for identifying market trends, marketing strategies, customer needs and requirements; developing proposals to capture either new or ongoing military and commercial programs to maintain a solid business base. He manages key client relationships specifically in the special operations community, Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Army at Redstone Arsenal, Navy and Commercial Aviation programs.
Mike brings over 32 years military operational experience as a C-130 Instructor/Evaluator Pilot, Commander, Operations Officer, and Director of Training. He was a key leader, manager and participant in all aspects of the 919th Operations Group special operations missions for over 17 years flying the AC-130A Gunship and the MC-130E Combat Talon I until his retirement.
After retirement, Mike began working in the Business Development career field supporting large and small businesses to identify and develop business opportunities. He identified market trends, customer needs and requirements with senior management, developed business and marketing strategies, and proposals to capture either new or ongoing military and commercial programs. He was an employee or independent consultant for companies such as Alliant Techsystems, Aerospace Integration Corporation, Sierra Nevada Corporation, Jacobs Engineering and Full Circle Integration.
During his tenure with Jacobs Engineering as a Senior Systems Analyst, he was responsible for the development of the AC-130J System Training Plan (STP) that documents the systematic process for validating, developing, acquiring, testing, modifying and managing training systems throughout the life-cycle of the AC-130J program.
Mike and his wife, Linda, live in the local area and spend much of their free time volunteering in the community or spoiling their grandchildren. Mike was recently named NWFL USO Volunteer of the year for 2017!
